the box will also come with the official soundtrack, which it seems will beef up the box a small bit. also judging from the box, it will also be wifi compatible :3 the exact release date is unknown, the announcement gave off the date november ‘08.

server issues

old news: japanese company makes ringtones only audible to dogs, and idiots.

Tokyo-based interactive content provider Dwango announced today [JP, PDF] the start of a download service of a very special kind. Now Japanese cell phone owners are able to get ringtones that are only audible to dogs.

The service is dubbed Inu ni shika kikoenai chakushinon (ringtones only dogs can hear). Dwango says their idea is absolutely groundbreaking. Downloads are free for subscribers of the dwango.jp tori houdai (download flatrate) service, which is only available on DoCoMo’s proprietary mobile web system imode.

Square Enix + iPod = ?!

Square Enix just announced yesterday an iPod game that was released earlier today. Yes. Thats right a iPod game. For iPods. I want to personally thank Square Enix for weighting my decision to buy a iPod earlier today, by single handedly coming in and changing my decision from a nokia tablet back to the iPod by making my inner FFF (yes thats right final fantasy fanboy) cry out in agony in the thought of not owning this game.
The games premise looks intriguing to say the least, using the songs in your iPod to create an infinite amount of new solders and characters for you to battle and progress the story with. The only downside? ITS NOT ON THE IPOD TOUCH. ASLDKJASDLKJA SD.
